Welcome to Call of the Void

Call of the Void is a new Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) game in the Pacific Northwest. Set in a distant world, the game centers on a group of pioneers wading into uncharted territory in the hopes of building better lives. What awaits them is hostile territory, occult horror, and dangerous conflicts. Who will survive and at what cost? Join us in telling a harrowing tale of why some land should remain undisturbed.

Our goal is to provide an interactive and reactive frontier horror game for characters in an environment that is safe for players.

Hi all,

I wanted to put something out here to you all.

We have worked hard as staff, volunteers, and members of this group to do one thing: build a community. More specifically, a community that is as supportive as possible. With such a wide array of LARP experience, staff has always been unified in fostering something welcoming and safe. We've done this through with our policies, our rules, our lore, our stories, and our restrictions. But, even more than that, we have done this through how we treat each other. This has always been one of the most important things about CotV.

Game after game, more and more people have been introduced to each other. Friendships have been formed. Support networks have been expanded. Both feedback and hype have been equally shared. Each person here has shown a wealth creativity coupled with a significant amount of collaboration. There has been trust established, tested, and hopefully not lost. While this game has not been without conflict, we have striven always to reach resolution. All of these things are significant parts what makes a community great. What also makes this particular community great is you.

Please know that Call of the Void will continue to be as safe a community for you all as possible. Not just through the roleplay we allow or disallow, the accessibility we put into our policies, or the diversity that we include throughout our work, but also through making sure that members are always treated as more important than the game itself. Real world strife, hardship, and prejudice should not and will not determine how you are treated here. This is not a political statement, this has always been the goal. We will continue to honor a person's right to be themselves and defend their right to be included. If you help us in continuing to support and respect each other, as we seek to support and respect you, then you will always find community here.

If there are things that we can do better to make you feel heard, appreciated, and secure, please let us know. We will listen. We will always strive to give your voice weight. While we cannot offer complete adherence to all critiques or feedback, we will always offer our attention and a want to improve.

Please stay safe. See you soon.
