Welcome to Call of the Void
Call of the Void is a new Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) game in the Pacific Northwest. Set in a distant world, the game centers on a group of pioneers wading into uncharted territory in the hopes of building better lives. What awaits them is hostile territory, occult horror, and dangerous conflicts. Who will survive and at what cost? Join us in telling a harrowing tale of why some land should remain undisturbed.
Our goal is to provide an interactive and reactive frontier horror game for characters in an environment that is safe for players.

March 31, 2024
Hi everyone!
Hopefully all of y’all are now well-rested and getting ready for the next event!
The week hiatus is over and staff teams are beginning to wake from their hibernation. Thank you for your patience as we took some time for ourselves. Since we’re all volunteers here, preventing burnout is a huge priority. But now the relaxation has been had and it’s time to get the ball rolling again. We hope to start getting back to your emails soon!
A few updates for you all:
First, the registration is now open for Book 1, Chapter 7! The event will be May 10th-12th at Camp Kirby. We really hope that you can join us. The event page has been updated with important information and deadlines, and you can find that here.
Next, you may notice that our PC tickets are now $60 for early purchase and $65 after that. The reason is, as you may have noticed, we’ve been putting a lot into our production value. Through Fx makeup, costuming, and weapons, our Plot Team tries to bring the surreal, strange, and horrifying to life. What you might not know is that almost everything in Plot Camp - all the costumes, weapons, clothes, prosthetics, makeup - has been donated by members of the community or bought for the game by volunteers and staff. Simply, we haven’t had a Plot budget, as most new LARPs don’t. By adding $5 to tickets, we’re hoping that we can create a steady budget that Plot can use rather than relying on how we’ve been getting by previously. This will allow for a better game, we hope, for everyone.
Thank you to absolutely everyone who has donated their supplies and props and costumes to Plot Team thus far. We are forever grateful that you helped get our game off the ground and created so many great experiences for this game.
If this price increase is too much for someone to shoulder, there is always the Ticket Donation Fund for anyone who needs financial help to attend a game. To reserve a ticket this way, please email Logistics and we will be happy to help you. And, if you would like to donate to that fund, you can do so here.Lastly, our website has been updated! All of our policies have now been grouped together in one section, so you may notice some links have changed. Please take a look at them all here while we update where these are posted in our FB and Discord. As always, we will keep you updated when any changes are made to the website.
Looking forward to seeing y'all in the Void soon!
Ticket Donation Fund
Call of the Void has created a Ticket Donation Fund. If you do not have enough money to cover your ticket to attend a game, there is a specific fund from donations in the community that could purchase your ticket for you. Please reach out to Logistics (logistics@cotvlarp.com) if you would like to request a ticket from this fund.
If you would like to donate to this fund, please see our Donations page.
